One day me and another buzzard was sitting on a high limb over looking the world wide web ... ... I said to the other buzzard, "man, I cant wait for something to dye so I can make some money and eat." The other buzzard said to me, " Why wait for something to dye? Go kill it."
Thats wasnt the way the conversation went but its the best analogy that I can come up with to describe my conversation with Paul Darby. He told me that my website was ugly and he wouldn't buy a thing from me "If" he happen to look at it. It was easy to get "ticked off" but instead I wanted to make him eat his words. I asked him to tell me what to do.
Paul is now my success coach. I wouldn't trade him for anyone else.
I dont have any great web building insight to give to anyone else because I am new to this.
Thank you very much for you guidance, tough web building love, and patience. Thank you for helping me build hinsongifts.com. There is still alot of work to be done and I am not waiting around for it to just happen. I am making it happen.

I guess I just need to hear myself think and deal with ... uncertainties (hope thats a word).
I am presently unemployed. Looking for a way out I turned to e-commerce. Never in another life would I have thought that selling something on the internet would be so involved and time consuming.
Finding something to sell. Oh man. Personally I thought that I could sell a glass of water in the net. I could but I dont know how ... yet. I thought about Nike, Reebok, cars, porno ... ... I thought about finding something cheap and selling it for alot. I thought about so much stuff that I was out of ideas. Check this out, I even thought about a site called "Stuff.com", "AlotofStuff.com" "Under-A-Dollar.com", "JunkYard.com" ... "LastMinuteShopper.com" ... You know, I even tried to get in touch with WalMart to see if I could do some type of affliate program with them. At that time I didn't know what to ask for or even how to present myself. Actually I still dont.
http://www.usacardservices.com. This Company is giving me a start, alot of tools ... actually is like going to school. If I had to pay for this service, I would have never made it this far. But I am still missing something. Affiliate programs are nice but I need a product that people will use their credit card to buy from me. That way they can make some money. They make money I make money ... one hand wash the other ... everybody happy. What on God's green earth can I sell.
I had a window of about 8 weeks to get something up and going. This company sent me the equipment (http://www.usacardservices.com), gave me all the technical support/customer service that I could have ever asked for and i didn't have to pay anything for about 2 months. 8 mods full of information. Seriously! Hey, even though all the information I needed to build a site and become successful is given to me, I had to work for it. Its like baking biscuits. I've been trying to bake a good batch of bisucits for a minute. Everytime I call moms and complain about how they turn out, she tells me to follow the recipe.
I dont know how much i can write but ... ... I just want to be successful and provide for my family. Thats all. I guess i am trip'n.

Dear Trippin!
No you are not, you are just learning about the internet, and none of
us who have been down this path can get anyone to believe us...
The internet is different, or all of the talented, hard working, sales
professionals, would be rich on the internet.
Shoot, everyone would be rich... but as you are learning that is not
the case.
The internet is the same in one way... Starting a business is involved.
You must learn your industry, your craft and how to operate.
You are doing great.
Keep it up. And maybe get a job to supplement your income while
you are getting up and running.

OK Kermith.... you asked for it, now here it is: (Follow these instructions to the letter and DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS!)
1. Take everything out of your head and focus on 1 word:
2. Call USA Card Services, and ask someone to help you with the dropshipper.
3. Find out every single place on the internet (through search engines) that has ANYTHING to do with birdfeeders. And begin your emulation. (copy and paste time!)
4. Start adding every type of bird feeder product to your website, and use the word as many times as makes sense on your website. Make sure when it makes sense to link it to another page on your website.
5. When you add each product to your shopping cart, use the word freely and put links.
6. Imagine yourself as the McDonald's of birdfeeders. Come up with ideas on how birdfeeders will change the world. How your children will be so proud of your birdfeeders.
7. Dream about birdfeeders, and the money they will make you.
8. Make a domain name that has the word birdfeeder in it.
9. When your website has the word Birdfeeder on it at LEAST 100x, submit it to yahoo, msn, and google. Every day look for your website on the search engines. EVERY DAY!
10. Go to your website every time you think about it, and write down what looks wrong, then go fix it. IMMEDIATELY.
11. Use all those wonderful tools you were talking about, and figure out why your competition is beating you. Then fix it. IMMEDIATELY.
1 word for the next 4 weeks Kermith. If all you do is repeat that word while you're doing these things (plus going back over your training), 4 weeks should be all you need to see a profit.
If you think I'm joking, go ahead and roll your eyes. Otherwise, print this page out and stick it somewhere it can be seen at all times.
p.s. While you're doing these things, please post if you get stuck. and keep us up to date

OH MY GOSH!
Where did that come from? Like a super sonic jet doing a full out strafing run,
Like out of nowhere, complete domination!
I love this stuff. And GamExperiment, you are the BOMB! Thank you so much
for taking the time for that post.
Now how am I going to sleep? Now I'm ready to do some internet marketing!
The only tiny thing I can think of that I would offer a suggestion on is #9, I don't
think you meant to submit your URL to the same search engines every day, as
they will penalize you for that, but to submit them every week and then check
them every day...
Right? Do we agree? Or not?
All I can say about that post is I've watched "Tycoon's" site go from a baby site
that didn't get much traffic or sales, to a POWERHOUSE site that is on fire.
Hey, it's http://www.GamExperiment.com by the way.
I would take this advice ( and do) and I would print this post ( and will) and
do exactly what he says, post it and do it, don't think, don't ponder, don't
ask three of your friends and then read an ebook on it, just DO IT.
If you do what the people who are making money are doing... then you will
make money just like they are.
Thank you again for this superior post!
Sincerely,
Paul Darby
P.S. BIRD FEEDERS, is one of the phrase's that pays, the coaches are
all talking about, it should be RED HOT.

ok ... I am currently looking for distributors/dropshippers. Also, I contacted USA Card Services inquiring about another website. I am going to give this 110%. Thank you very much.
To anyone else out there thats like me, all I can say is not to be to proud to let someone out there with experience know just how nieve you are. I am putting my pride in my back pocket. For me, thats a hard thing to do. However, I see its a necessary thing to do.
Yours Truely,

Kermith,
You are not alone. I have recently started with USACS as well and am looking for a dropshipper for Christian CDs. Paul has been helpful but I still have not found what I am looking for. The sites I have visited seem to specialize in narrow selections and I need someone that I can work with to get a wide selection of Chritian Music. My plan is to have several catagories, Hard Rock/Metal, Hip-Hop/Rap, Contemporary Christian/Soft Rock, Gospel, Traditional Hymns, etc..
I am still looking for where to get the dropshipper I need.
I will post with my URL as soon as I have something up and running.

| Why would you need just one dropshipper? Why not use 3 or 4 dropshippers and just take from each dropshipper something you want?

I am hot headed ... I really am. Its difficult, for me, to allow someone to talk to me any kind of way. It is. I have issues with that. However, I sort of like put my pride into my back pocket and listen to paul. I am not saying that he doesn't piss me off ... but he has what i need. He have the JUICE. I want the juce.
If I could pass off something to you it would be to ... be humble. Yea, humility can be a good thing.

Hi,
You guys are too funny!! Kermith, keep up the good work and good luck finding your niche, as they say. I finally got my website up and active and have started making a little money. (very little) LOL But I'm determined to make money with my website and look forward to what I can learn from Paul Darby to direct more traffic to my site. I'm starting to get the traffic and am implementing several different types of campagnes to get traffic and more importantly, SALES. This forum is very encouraging.

Now this is what I like to hear. Somebody is making some money. I haven't checked my account. However, the hits to my site is off the chain.
I have a Trikke. Besides, I had to check out my product. I was riding it yesterday, I keep some business cards on me, this lady pulled over and asked me what makes it go. Another guy, driving a tractor trailer, asked me where did I get it from. You know each of them got one of my cards. What I am thinking about doing is getting a shirt with Trikke printed on the back along with my site URL Hinsongifts.com. I believe its going to be the next big thing with X-Games.
Hopefully I will be making alot of money soon also. Good luck with your site and keep on making that money.

Hey,
Cindi... can I borrow $5.00? Kidding... I didn't want
to ask for too much as you said you were making a
"little" money. :-)
Why don't you call me at USACS today ( Monday )
and we'll find a way to make a "little" more!
Thanks by the way for your encouraging post!
As you read the one below yours from Kermith, it
was a ray of hope to those people who have just
started and have not seen their 1st sale yet.
Have a terrific day!

Kermith,
Here' what to do today:
log into your colony1 site and create three new pages
for your Trikke site.
Each page should be a report on something to do with
Trikke.
I don't care if you go to their site and copy their text
just come up with some interesting material to put
in your three new pages.
Then fix each page so that there is at least 200 words
in it.
Use your keyword "Trikke" every 15 words on average
on each page.
Set your 200 words up to be in 3-4 paragraphs, and
make a BOLD paragraph heading over each paragraph
include the word Trike.
Then put the keyword "Trike" in a link on each page
and link it to your home page.
Example: Click Here to see a Great Trike Right now!
Next - set up the links on the bottom ( or anywhere)
on your home page to each of the three pages.
Example: Report on how Trike scoothers help you get fit
Example: Report on how Trike is fun for the whole family
Example: Report on how much fun Trike is to own
Then go and submit your site manually to some of the
search engines (free)
Yahoo
Google
Then go start a new site with something else while you
are wating the 3-6 weeks for the search engines to
index the site and get you listed.
That outta keep you busy for a few hours! :-)
But you will like the results!
I can't wait till you are giving tips on the net to newbies
on how to get a site to sell.
Don't be in a hurry, this process takes awhile...
Have a terrific day!

Am on the right track?
My site http://www.thegamefrenzy.com has roughly 100 video games. I took some of them and applied the title against the 3000X2 Mil formula and came up with 3. I made them my "Featured Items" on my front page. I got some cheats and hints for those games and wrote a short article on each three. I put a link to the product description and the article on my front page.
Now I am in the process of put a little reminder on EVERY product (roughly 120) description to check out my "Featured Items" and put a link to go back to the "Featured Item" That is keeping me busy but cut and paste is a wonderful invention.
How does that sound?

Hi Cindy,
I'm in the same boat with you...I have managed to make a small amount of money on my two websites. I'm looking forward to learning new ways of increasing sales through Paul Darby's Viral Mareting forum. My two sites are http://www.futuretimeclocks.com and http://www.kandrsportinggoods.com. Please let me know if you see anything that I could improve on...I sure would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,
