Picture this:
Maybe ALL the gurus in the chat on a certain day, certain time. Members, login, come with your questions, get helped LIVE!
We hear about our favorite celebrities chatting live online, why not Paul Darby himself?! Live, backed up by gurus?
Anyone besides me interested in this concept?

Hey Andibaybee !!
Great concept !! ...but I hope you consider "globalisation" when fixing the schedule of the meet up as u have to consider that u and Paul r from Texas, Jason Dinner from New York, Yours truly (Jay) from New Delhi and Massimo from Italy. I just made a cursory search and it seems that when it's around 1: 30 PM at Texas/New York, it's 11 PM at New Delhi (India) and 7:30 PM at Italy....
You have to synchronise and also consider the countries of the participants in the seminar....I am sure u can find a timing which is suitable for all concerned.
Click here to access a tool which will help....Please note that the page is under construction....Click here and schedule the timings of the seminar at "TheMarketersDreamForum"...
You have to look at New York, New Delhi and Italy and then synchronise with Paul and your timings at Dallas.
C U at the seminar....!!!...
With best wishes....
Jay

Wow, I knew Massimo was in Italy, I didn't realize you were in India! We are truly international, no?
Having never co-ordinated something like this I wonder if we should see if any members would be interested in doing it at all (the gurus are obviously okay!), then seeing what may work best for them, as they're the ones that need it more than we do...
...Forum members? Your thoughts? Perhaps a poll?
Mr. Darby? Your two cents...?

Yea guys, it can be a problem, especially for us Aussies! I was up at 4.00am Sunday to catch a TrafficPanther chat that was scheduled 12.00 midday Saturday, Florida time! I guess that's why these forums are so popular.....we can log in whenever to chatch up on what's happening, and read it at our leisure. Might be the best way to go, eh? I like the idea of live chat, but there seldom seems to be any activity here when I log on.
Cheers,
Phil(aussiegold).

I think that is a great idea. Only difficutlty for me is I tend to be working during the hours that guru's chat. Would it be possible to have the chat recorded and accessed at any time?

Hi Paul and Gurus,
andibaybee has a wonderful idea, and there is a simple way to solve the time difference situation.
Paul is from Texas. He could be in the chat room from such and such hour. Max is from Italy. He then could be in the chat room at a different hour. And so on and so on. You know what I mean?
Although you wouldn't have the advantage of having Paul and all the gurus in the room at one time you would still have the advantage of being able to talk to someone with expertise and solve problems on the spot instead of having to wait for a salutation.

It's a good idea. I think the best thing to do would to record a seminar that could be listened to in streaming audio or downloaded in a mp3. Another choice would be to have a recorded messgae available via an 800 phone number.
For instance, if in the forum, the members made sugggestions about topics they need pointers on - then Paul or Max could record a seminar and post the link in the forum.
This way it would be available 24/7 to all members no matter their location or timezone.
Veretekk conducts live classes in their conference room and they solved this problem by running classes ALL DAY LONG! Somehow, I don't think this a practical choice in this case.

Hi andibaybee,
Yes I agree that this would be an awesome idea to have all of the GURUs gather in a chat room on a regular basis and have discussions that could be of benefit to all members of this Forum. However what if we took it one step further and had the GURUs take a subject such as Safelists, Traffic Exchanges, Ad Blasters etc... and take a week to come up with a friendly debate on each topic so that members could get to hear both sides of these Resources and make an educated decision as to which is actually best for them.
Way too often on the Net we get to hear one side or the other about a Resource, but as a Newfoundlander I grew up believing that you learn best when you can see both sides and the aspects of both in a dynamic friendly debate scenario, heck even the Newbies could eventually get in on this as well once the rules and direction were all ironed out.
